This recipe is a great way to get in protein and can be prepped ahead of time to enjoy after workouts or as a high-protein snack/dessert.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup unflavored plant-based protein powder (you can use chocolate or a flavor of your choosing)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- A pinch of salt (1/8 tsp)
- 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp soy milk
- 4/3 cup whole rolled oats
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix the protein powder, cinnamon, and salt evenly distributed.
- Add the peanut butter, maple syrup, and soy milk; mix with a spatula or spoon until combined.
- Finally mix in the whole rolled oats and chocolate chips. Roll into bite-sized balls and store in the refrigerator. You can also eat it as is.
